Worth the short drive

A practice Canterbury-Bankstown families choose on purpose

Canterbury-Bankstown has no shortage of dental clinics, so patients who make the trip to Marsfield usually do so for a reason. Some have followed the same dentist here for years. Others come on a recommendation from family, or because they want unhurried appointments, honest treatment planning and a team that explains the options before any work begins.

We are not a walk-in clinic in the middle of Bankstown or Campsie. We are a family-owned practice at 52 Waring Street in Marsfield, close to Macquarie University and easy to reach from the northern and western edges of the Canterbury-Bankstown area. What we offer is continuity: the same faces at each visit, records kept in one place, and treatment that leans towards keeping your natural teeth wherever it sensibly can.

If you are weighing up whether a dentist a little further from home is worth it, the honest answer depends on what matters to you. For patients who value a settled, experienced team and the convenience of having general, cosmetic and restorative care in one building, the drive is a small trade.

No surprises

Fees, health funds and paying for treatment

We keep the money side clear from the start. Beyond a standard check-up, we explain what a treatment involves and what it costs before you agree to anything.

Preferred provider

We are a preferred provider for BUPA, Medibank, nib and CBHS, which can mean a smaller gap on many common treatments for members of those funds.

Claim on the spot with HICAPS

Our HICAPS terminal lets eligible patients claim their health fund rebate at the desk and pay only the difference, and gives you an on the spot quote before you commit.

NSW vouchers welcome

We accept NSW Oral Health Fee for Service vouchers where you are eligible. Bring your voucher and our team will let you know what it covers.

Exact fees depend on what your teeth need, so the fairest figure is one worked out for you. Ask us for an estimate at your first visit, or call the practice and we will talk you through the likely cost.

What patients say

Reviews from the families we look after

We would rather show you real, verified feedback than a set of anonymous quotes. When you visit, ask reception how we care for nervous patients and first time visitors, and take a look at our current Google reviews to hear from people in your own words.

Questions from Canterbury-Bankstown patients

Where exactly is the practice, and is it far from Canterbury-Bankstown?

We are at 52 Waring Street, Marsfield NSW 2122, in Sydney's north near Macquarie University. That is a short drive north of the Canterbury-Bankstown area, closest to the Canterbury district suburbs such as Earlwood, Campsie and Canterbury. We are not located inside Bankstown or Campsie, so most patients reach us by car or via the Macquarie University Metro station.

Do you take my health fund?

We are a preferred provider for BUPA, Medibank, nib and CBHS, and we have HICAPS on site so eligible patients can claim their rebate on the spot and only pay the gap. We also accept NSW Oral Health Fee for Service vouchers where they apply. Bring your fund card to your visit and our team will process the claim for you.

Can I be seen in a language other than English?

Yes. Our team can care for you in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien and French. If you would prefer your appointment in one of these languages, let reception know when you book so we can arrange it.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

Call us on (02) 9887 1961 as early in the day as you can and describe what has happened. Toothache, a broken or knocked out tooth, swelling or a lost filling or crown all count as urgent. We will find the soonest time we can see you and talk you through what to do in the meantime.

I am a new patient. What happens at the first visit?

Your first visit is usually a check-up and clean with a full look at your teeth, gums and any concerns you raise. If you need treatment, we explain the options, the likely cost and the timing before anything goes ahead, so there are no surprises. Families are welcome to book children and adults together.

Is there parking, and is the practice accessible?

Yes. On-site and street parking is available, and there is wheelchair access via the driveway. If you have specific access needs, mention them when you book and we will make sure your visit is comfortable.
